HELPFUL HINTS FOR "MOON" AND "SUN" SHIRTS
1. Practice applying DESIGN-IT on paper towel, making the moon, star,
clouds, and sun rays.
Always pull can toward yourself. A VERY THIN LINE IS BEST. Wipe tip
frequently with paper towel moistened with CLEAN-IT.
2. Tightly secure shirt to board using straight pins. Smooth wrinkles.
"MOON" SHIRT DIRECTIONS
1. Lay plate in center of T- shirt; where you wish design. Trace from top,
around to left of plate, down and back up to approximately 4:00 o'clock
spot, (see photograph).
2. Finish moon shape. Add clouds by drawing loose, sketchy lines with chalk,
and make a large star near the moon. (see photograph)
3. Using DESIGN-lT' outline moon, stat and clouds. Set aside to dry 15 minutes.
4. Clean valve and craft tip with CLEAN-IT.
5. On shirt, brush around moon shape, clouds, and star with pearlired paint.
6. Paint moon and glitter with silver while paint is wet. Glitter clouds and
star iridescent.
"SUN" SHIRT DIRECTIONS
1. With chalk, trace a circle around plate onto fabric. Lightly draw 3"
lines (sun rays) from edge of circle. Draw eyes, nose, and mouth.
(see photograph)
2. With DESIGN-IT starting at top of circle, sparingly outline circle, eyes,
nose and mouth. Add tiny dot of DESIGN-IT for pupil of each eye. Place
gemstone into wet DESIGN-IT.
3. Starting at circle and following chalk marks slowly make rays with
DESIGN-IT. Between the 3 rays add shorter rays of DESIGN-IT. Dry about
1 hour.
4. Clean craft tip and valve thoroughly with CLEAN-IT.
5. Paint all DESIGN-lT' lines with basecoat of "Coronation Flusset". Brush
"Kings Gold" lightly over base coat. While paint is wet, sprinkle on a
mixture of gold and pumpkin glitter.
6. Add dot of black paint to center of eyes.
7. Paint fine wiggly lines of "Coronation Russet" on fabric for additional
rays. Dry thoroughly.
GENERAL DlRECTIONS
1. Protect work surface with plastic or large trash bag.
2. Wear latex or plastic gloves and apron to protect nail polish and clothing.
3. Use at room temperature.
4. Apply a small amount ot DESIGN-lT'at a time.
5. DESIGN-IT is a permanent adhesive and bonds to everything when wet,
except some plastic, like trash bags. Remove immediately from skin when wet
with CLEAN-IT.
6. To reuse valve and craft tip: Clean them frequently with CLEAB-IT. Renove
craft top and drip CLEAN-IT through it. Squirt CLEAN-IT into valve and
empty residue on paper towel.
